Event Details

The Fifth Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE), IAS Frontiers Workshop event will take place on July 4, 2025, in Singapore as a satellite of the International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT).

WiRE celebrates the achievements of women in renewable energy while addressing the challenges they continue to face. The event aims to ensure the next generation of women scientists is better equipped and supported in their careers.

In addition to discussing groundbreaking research, WiRE will highlight the history of scientific progress and gender diversity, reminding younger scientists that today’s advancements are built on the struggles and perseverance of those before them.

Call for Poster Abstracts

Solar Energy
Conversion of solar light into electricity, thermal energy, or chemical energy for fuel generation.
Energy Storage
Batteries, capacitors, and sustainable storage solutions.
Adv. Materials
Fuel cells, ferroic materials (piezo, ferro, flexo), and thermoelectrics.
Emerging Apps
Self-powered devices, wearables, and sensors.
AI
The role of AI in enabling renewable energy technologies.
Circular Econ.
Sustainability in energy harvesting and storage.

Attendance is free but registration is compulsory. Interested participants should send an email with the subject "registration" including their Name, Job Title, and Affiliation.
